Client Critiques

1st, these massive Invicta watches are factors you either like or don't like. I have three of them currently and I like them. They are massive and a bit clunky, but that's the appear and 1 ought to anticipate it. And they are well created.
When reviewing, I generally like to comment on factors that aren't obviousy to someone browsing the item, and that's specially true of how a thing looks. I am making an exception in this case simply because when this is sort of a typical Invicta face, the huge, nearly-Deco numerals and the really chunky ends of the minute and hour hands are distinct than other Invictas of this sort that I've come across. At 1st I definitely did not like the looks of the dial, and felt it was too 'in your face' (even compared to Invicta's usual stuff) but they grew on me, and it is rather pretty hassle-free to tell the time (regardless of the chronograph dials producing the face busy) without the need of glasses (I'm far-sighted).
Significant NOTE ABOUT BAND MATERIAL: The band is described as being "cloth" but that's not the whole story. It's cloth on the outside (sort of feels like an upscale canvas) but the cloth is sewn onto a leather strap. It lends the band a nice thickness, but do be aware that what you will really feel against your skin is leather and not cloth.
Note that when the title doesn't say so, this is what Invicta calls a "lefty" given that the control dials are on the left rather than the perfect. I put on my watch on my left wrist, and I find this works fine.
Getting worn this watch a bit, 1 factor that I didn't feel I'd even discover, but which I do, and which I do not care for, is the extent to which the second hand stands out. It is red (every thing else is white) and massive (it is not on a subdial), and I find that it draws the eye sufficient to be distracting. Objectively speaking, it's not a massive issue, but subliminally I seem to discover it and it'll possibly outcome in my wearing the watch much less than I otherwise would.

A different watch that follows the trend of large watches, the 1512 has a casual and kind of an elegant look at the similar time, which is great as I can use it for operate (on a small business casual dress code) or throughout the weekends when I generally put on jeans and extra casual clothes.
Similar as the 1430 line, it does have a stop watch function and can also be applied as a tachymeter. The crowns to set it up are on the left side rather than the perfect, which is exactly where they are generally situated. Included in the box is a set of directions on how to use all features. The second hand is red even though the hour and minute hands are white, which tends to make a great combination and adds to the appear on the face of the clock.
Contrary to what you could possibly expect, it is not as heavy as it looks and the band is fairly comfortable. Essential to note that the band is fabric on the front side and leather on the back, I added a couple pictures as this is not that clear in the Amazon product description photos.
As my other Invicta watches, it is precise and I have had no problems whatsoever. I am so excited with this new watch that I have been practically using it on a daily basis from my watch collection, I have to say the Invictas are my favorites. They are properly created, appear terrific and trendy, and overall, execute as expected.
Extremely advised if you are into big watches.

Consumer Evaluations

This is a great timepiece for 70 to 80 bucks. Here are some of the details that you really should probably take into account prior to buying this watch:
-Bracelet: Stainless Steel (316L)
-Motion: Japanese Quartz TMI VD57 Quartz Chronograph. Similar layout as the famous Valjoux 7750. Chronograph, cease watch function.
-Crystal: Flame Fusion. Good upgrade from Invicta, They employed to have mineral crystal with not scratches resistance properties.
-Crown: Not Screw Down w/ Function Pushers. The absent of screw down crown confirm my doubts about it really is correct water resistances.
-Clasp: Deployant
-Bracelet Measurements: eight-three/4" L x 22mm W. Will feet most wrists and painless to adjust.
-Case Measurements: 43mm, not 44 as Amazon descriptions says. Not too significant, not as well tiny. Very good for just about every one. Similar case put to use in Rolex models that Invicta seems to copy regularly. In spite of this, make no mistake this is not a Rolex. This is a 70 buck watch.
-Water Resistance: 20 ATM - 200 meters - 660 feet. The 200m/660f water resistance make this watch a specialist diver watch, on the other hand don't forget that this a Chinese mass produced timepiece with low to none excellent control. So I would not advised for qualified diving.
-120 clicks unidirectional rotating bezel.
-Luminous Tritnite index markers display in all hour positions
-It came into a nice presentation box exactly where the watch is properly protected. So contemplate this as a wonderful gift.
If you identified this overview helpful, please vote yes.

Really like this watch. It feels and looks terrific. Certainly has the appear of watches costing far more dollars. My dilemma with it? It was a lemon. Soon following, like 3 months later, after receiving it, I noticed it was a couple minutes off. It keeps doing that despite any effort to get it to work on time. I took it in and they said to contact Invicta. When I did, I was out of the warranty period since I waited to lengthy (perform schedule...cannot make phone calls at function due to the nature of my job). So they wanted way more income to take care of it...which eliminates how a lot I spent finding it. Needless to say, I am not sure I will do that once more. I am trigger shy now regardless of how lots of good evaluations Invicta gets...

Consumer Reviews

When I ordered this watch I was expecting to get exactly what I paid for....a $95 watch, but what I received far surpassed my expectations. Initial, the box it came in was ginormous and well protected. Seriously you could have fit three or 4 of these watches in that factor, and it included a suede or suede-like polishing cloth as nicely.
The watch itself was covered in a clear protective film which was very easily removed. Upon inspection the 1st issue I noticed was the face and how it has a especially detailed raised background which adds a lot of class to the watch. An extra nice function is the screw down crown which permits you to "lock" down the dials with out worrying about water finding into the watch through the adjustment shafts. Invicta did not overlook the details right here, and it shows.
A swift critique of the included guide and I had the second hand adjusted to the 12 o'clock position and it was ready to go. I did have to eliminate a couple of links to get it to the right size, but it was a straightforward course of action even with no the accurate tool. If you are unsure how this process functions or are nervous that you may scratch the watch, you can purchase a pin removal tool proper right here on Amazon for about $15 which would surely make the job much easier.
A week later and it hasn't lost any measurable quantity of time, so it appears that it is undertaking precisely what it was developed to do. This watch does use a Japanese movement (indicated by the micro-printing on the face which reads "Japan Movt" at the 6 o'clock position), but the modern Japanese movements are on par with anything the Swiss can make, and in some instances are arguably far better - though they don't carry the identical veneration as becoming able to say you have a "Swiss watch".
Admittedly the second hand isn't as smooth as a $3500 watch and it doesn't "sweep" like a Rolex....but honestly what do you expect for around $100? I am guessing about 99% of the average citizen would have no clue if this was a $100 watch or a $3500 watch - and I'm not about to spend a couple of additional thousand just to have the name Rolex glued to the face. They each tell time, only this a single comes with the added function of a fat wallet as properly.
The stopwatch function is nice, but honestly isn't that valuable. It could be neat to watch the second hand swing back up to 12 when you reset it, but with the exception of testing a speedometer I doubt it would be precise sufficient for much else. I will not use any of the chronograph functions, but once more I think they add a touch of class to the watch and make it look much alot more costly than it is.
The fit and finish as very fine, and even though I have worn it just about every day since it arrived and haven't exactly been gentle thus far there is not a scratch to be located anyplace on the face or even the band. The clasp itself is a great deal more of a brushed stainless materials which is appreciated considering that it is the element which comes into contact with difficult surfaces most commonly, and it should certainly be somewhat resistant to scratching.
If I have any complaints at all it would be the embossed "INVICTA" identified on the 9 o'clock side of the watch. It isn't that noticeable when worn, but it seems a little representative of a Seiko or Timex....could have completed without having it. The Invicta logo on the face is fairly tasteful and well completed - not distracting from the rest of the face at all.
All points regarded as I would not hesitate for a second to buy an additional Invicta, and assuming this watch stands up to my usage more than the next year or two I most likely will add to my collection. This specific model is good adequate to be worn in a enterprise or formal occasion but also can be worn with jeans and t-shirts.
The watch itself is a tiny beefier than what I was coming from, but it hasn't bothered me thus far and even though I have smaller wrists I do not think it looks also massive. Even so, if you are searching for extra of a streamlined timepiece or something which is thin - you won't appreciate the bulkiness of a chronograph or this model in distinct.
Update 11/01/ten: More than 3 and a half years later and I am nonetheless very happy with this watch. I put on the watch each day and have had no considerable issues therefore far. I did break a pin which resulted in me losing one particular of the finish links on the band (my fault), but I ordered a replacement band from Amazon which solved the matter (I wrote a separate assessment for that as properly). About a month ago I noticed the second hand on the watch stopped operating but the hour and minute hands had been still operating just fine. I thought the watch was broken, but aside from the second hand almost everything else seemed ok so I continued to wear it. About a week or ten days later the complete watch stopped, so I replaced the battery and all is well once again (like the second hand). The subsequent time I notice the second hand cease, I'll take into account it a warning that the battery is about to die on me.
I am considering buying one other watch in black, and I am am putting Invicta at the best of my list due to the way this watch has performed. The only thing I would modify about this watch would be to swap out the battery for a self-winding movement, but for under a hundred bucks that is asking for rather a bit. I know Invicta has self-winding watches that price a bit far more, so I may opt for 1 of those in the future.

Loving the appear of the Rolex Daytona, I spotted this watch on Amazon and just had to have a single (at the cost).
Arrived in a properly padded display box, with all components of the watch and strap covered in a protective plastic - so no scratches.
Taking out a couple of hyperlinks for that custom fit just took a couple of minutes.
The watch looks terrific - improved than the images on the Web - and it works as described.
Other posters that have had concerns must read the manual! It does all of the chrono functions, and has complete adjustments for hand alignment etc. - Terrific!

Customer Reviews

The watch is pretty considerably as pictured, but the face of the watch is more beige (or off-white) than the white shown in the picture. The chronograph is a tiny less valuable than you could 1st envision, for the reason that it can be difficult to make out the minutes elapsed. Overall, although, the watch looks good, keeps time, and is subtle. The Amazon price was awesome -- significantly cheaper than retail.

Be warned, this watch has a massive face, maybe suited ideal to those with sizeable wrists and/or many people looking for an eye-catching piece. Whilst the huge, glimmering white face with polished steel functions make this watch somewhat ostentatious, the simple, black, early 1960s-style numbers and markers produce a much more subtle, classy, vintage feel. Although I would call this far more of a dress watch, the leather strap and black characters make it way more versatile than your average shiny metal link watch. It fits well with a suit, but can also dress up your jeans and t-shirt without seeking out of location. The function of the chronograph is simple, dependable and pretty useful. A single dial for minutes, 1 dial for seconds, and a third as a 24 hour clock. The ticking is not also loud for my liking. The strap is thick and comfortable with an appealing crease down the middle and a greasy finish.
The only minor gripes I can feel of: 1) the watch I received is a bit on the quickly side, gaining numerous seconds per week. Could possibly have just been my distinct watch, who knows. two) wish that the chronograph allowed for timing higher than one particular-hour intervals and that the minute dial had markers for every minute rather than every single five. 3) the date is a quite conspicuous omission. Possibly that is what keeps this watch in the value bracket it is? Maybe an artistic option?
Overall, adore the acquire, very frequently receives compliments.

Customer Critiques

I purchased my Tissot PRC 200 last fall and it's amazing! But, it consistently ran about 2 or three minutes slow each week. I referred to as Tissot (Swatch Group USA) and they said send it in for repair because it was still below warranty. But when they received it they notified me that they do not present a warranty for watches bought on the net and adjusting my watch would be a full service charge of $200. I am pretty disappointed in Amazon for not showing that as a disclaimer and Tissot for their policy.Tissot Men's PRC 200 Chronograph Watch T17.1.586.52

Purchased this watch about a week ago, looked at all the selections about the identical cost and read all the reviews, actually happy with my choice. The watch face is rather huge but looks terrific and the bracelet is also terrific. I have slim wrists and it still looks incredible, the photographs dont do it justice it looks considerably nicer in the flesh so to speak. I would hugely suggest this watch even over other more costly examples.

Consumer Evaluations

I essential a replacement for a chronograph that I lost about a month ago (Fossil FS-4247). I have also been taking into consideration a watch with a PU band for a though, and this one particular delivers nearly almost everything I could want.
PROS
- Durable construct excellent
- Sporty design looks high finish for a not-so-high end value
- Split seconds chronograph, date function, and tachymeter
- Luminous hands and markers
- PU band is more like silicone. Pretty soft, flexible, and comfy.
- Charcoal contrast stitching in the band is cool
- Fits well and is not also significant
- Looks awesome on the wrist
- Styling matches a wide selection of circumstances and wardrobe color schemes.
CONS
- I choose a bigger watch, but this is a way more sporty design, so I am even more forgiving of the smaller sized size (although quite a few would nonetheless consider this watch sizeable)
- PU band is not as breathable as a leather band. My wrist gets genuinely sticky and sweaty if I go ride my bike with it on. I'm also worried about the durability of the band. Then again, the woman at the fossil store said she's never heard of 1 breaking, and it would also be covered below the remarkable 11 year warranty if it did.
- Polished steel case sides will eventually scratch. I think about that battle scars, but others could be turned off by it.
- Flat mineral crystal not as resistant to breaking as a domed crystal.
- The flyback function on the chronograph is slow (it takes longer for the chronograph to reset back to :00:00 than I would count on ).
- The chronograph buttons are smaller. This may perhaps be a problem for an athlete timing themselves on the go or any one wearing gloves.

Overall this is a good watch. I bought it nearly a year ago and nevertheless looks as great as new. It is very scratch-resistant and the band is especially comfortable. I like that its a tiny bit major and heavy. A lot of many people have told me that it looks terrific. It looks a lot even more high priced that it truly is.

Consumer Testimonials

Superb watch. Nice, solid construction. Keeps terrific time. Straightforward to read. Extremely comfy strap/watch really feel. The watch looked too major in the photo, but immediately after finding it and wearing it for a couple of minutes, yes big, too large? No! It really is a conversation starter, for positive. Appealing finish, accents, and so on. Can be worn everyday or just to the workplace. Casual, however sophisticated. I would hugely advise this watch to anybody searching for a properly priced, well created, casual sport watch with a very masculine appeal. Only drawback, no Indiglo? The hour/min. hands glow in the dark...as do the hour markers, but it is challenging to tell the time five hours soon after the final daylight...

Superb Looks + Amazing Cost! This is my third Nautica watch and the good quality is particularly superior.
